Art Print Residence
Art Print Residence is a professional Printmaking Studio specializing in intaglio etching and other printmaking methods.
We provide a welcoming creative space for printmakers from all over the world and studio space for local artists. We are located in Arenys de Munt, close to Barcelona (Catalonia, Europe).
Art Print Residence offers the convenience of being close to the city with the peace and quiet of a rural setting. We are self-funded and do not rely on grants for our sustainability. Our organization was founded in 1992 but we have been operating under its name since 2012.
The living spaces are joined to the studio and surrounded by a beautiful garden. Accommodation in the residency consists of private/shared rooms in a shared apartment.
Our fully-equipped studio is a comfortable place to work in. We offer access to specialist printmaking equipment for experienced printmakers and a wide range of courses in printmaking for those new to the processes.
We provide the artists with a large variety of printmaking tools, papers for printing, plates, and other supplies required for the processes. We have 5 intaglio printing presses, plus one relief printing press and another for letterpress. Art Print Residence hosts independent workshops and residencies, especially those focused on large-scale printing.
There is no specific Call for submission to work in Art Print Residence. We are open all year on a first come, first served basis. So book in advance and be sure there is space to accommodate you and your project.
Residency period:
