Art residency program in rural Norway

30. juni 2026 📍 Stor-Elvdal Fysisk Yellow vs Blue
Beskrivelse
Open call for global participants to join our Art Residency Program in Norway this summer. 🇳🇴

We are happy to share that we have selected a diverse group coming so far from CanadaSpain, Finland, Norway, Tunisia, France, Egypt, Portugal, Georgia, Germany, and Singapore!
Now we have only two spots left to join our upcoming Art Residency Program in Koppang, Norway from August 26 to 31, 2026🇳🇴

This program is organized by Yellow vs. Blue (www.yellowvsblue.org) in collaboration with Stor-Elvdal Kommune, Folkeakademiet, and Frivillig.

This is a 6-day immersive mental health journey for youth workers, mentors, and creatives who are ready to explore the intersection of mental health and artistic expression, focusing on Art Therapy and Theatre of the Oppressed as methods for personal development and social change. This art residency experience will be located in a rural village in Norway and you will be hosted in a traditional former-farm house, which is a farm and home for about 100 Angus cows in Koppang. This program is an open and creative space where we will use art, theater, movement and music as a bridge to the parts of ourselves that are often hard to express.

The program offers a “double shot” of impact: it is a dedicated time for your own personal and emotional exploration, while simultaneously providing you with inspiration and methods to transfer these practices back to your work with youth and community initiatives. If you are interested to learn more and apply to join us this summer in Norway.

After checking the info-pack, you can apply from here:

Please note that this is a self-funded opportunity and we have limited spots available, all details are mentioned in the info-pack.

We look forward to receiving your application and hopefully have you as part of this artistic journey in Norway this summer! 🙂
