Ásmundarsalur is looking for artist to exhibit and perform in the next calendar year; 2027. We are calling for proposals for solo shows and/or group art exhibitions for a 5-6 week exhibition slots in our 72 square meter hall on our 2nd floor. We also call for proposals for exhibitions in the café on the 1st floor as well as proposals for the artists’ workshop in Gunnfríðargryfja, were the 25 square meter Gryfja can serve as an open studio / open workshop for your art practice for a term of 4-8 weeks. Furthermore, we are exited to call for applications from the performing artists. We have allocated space in the 2027 exhibition schedule for the performing arts and are calling for proposals for performances in all their diversity, encouraging collaborations across different artistic disciplines.

We are accepting applications till May 26th, and responses will be sent to all applicants by September 15th 2026. Applicants information and applications will only be accessible to the Ásmundarsalur advisory board and directors.
