Description

Media artists from around the world can now submit works for consideration for the 40th European Media Art Festival (EMAF) in Osnabrück. The festival accepts new works in film (experimental short and long films), installation (installative, interactive, spatial or sculptural media art works) and expanded (performance, live events and workshops).

Because the number of submissions has increased significantly in recent years, the call closes once 2,200 works have been received – and at the latest December 15, 2026 – so that all submissions receive the time and attention they deserve. Submission is free.

The festival runs April 21–25, 2027, and the exhibition at Kunsthalle Osnabrück runs until May 23, 2027.
