Art Explora Foundation and Cité internationale des arts are launching their 7th call for a residency program established in 2021. The program welcomes artists and researchers from around the world to support their artistic and/or academic practice, with two different tracks.

The SOLO program is open to artists and writers working in visual art, performance, digital practice, literary works or other experimental disciplines. The residency lasts 3–6 months and includes a fully equipped studio apartment of approximately 50 m², a monthly living stipend of 1000 EUR, production support of up to 3000 EUR, round-trip travel, and access to production facilities and local networks.

The COLLECTIVE program is open to artist collectives, possibly together with researchers and/or curators, working collaboratively. The residency lasts 3 months and includes a shared studio apartment, a shared monthly living stipend of 2000 EUR, shared production support of 3000 EUR, and round-trip travel for each member (up to 2000 EUR). Up to 20 residents are selected each year, with emphasis on project quality, connection to the residency's themes, and the importance of staying in France for the project's development.
