Fuse is a residency for classically trained musicians – wind players, string players, percussionists, singers and composers – who wish to explore their artistic practice through collaboration across art forms. The program lasts three weeks at Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity in Canada, and offers workshops, one-to-one mentoring, group collaboration and access to studios around the clock, led by an internationally recognized teaching faculty.

Participants live on campus in private hotel rooms, and the program concludes with presentations of work in progress for audiences and fellow students. No previous interdisciplinary experience is required, only openness to exploring new forms of expression.

All participants receive a Banff Centre Arts Scholarship that covers the course fee and provides a contribution toward accommodation and meals. After the scholarship is deducted, the participant is left with a participant fee of CAD 3,026.36, in addition to an application fee of USD 65 (USD 35 for applicants who identify as Indigenous peoples in Canada).
