Water & Rock is an artist-driven nature residency in the mountain village of Kazaviti on the island of Thasos in Greece. The residency invites artists, writers, musicians, botanists and researchers working with nature-related themes to live and create for three weeks (22 nights), surrounded by forest and natural springs, with a focus on the island's fauna and flora.

The autumn program 2026 consists of two stays: "Autumn Light" (October 31–November 22, 2026) and "Art By The Fire" (November 28–December 20, 2026). The program continues with several thematic stays throughout 2027, including guest teachers in music, nature writing and botany. Participants stay in shared facilities with a personal work desk in the room, shared studio with wood stove, kitchen and bathroom, as well as several outdoor spaces with views.

This is a self-financed residency with no grants or production support from the organizer. Participants pay a program fee of 1350 EUR, or 1750 EUR for stays with a guest teacher, for 22 days of accommodation. The fee includes weekly guided excursions, walks, brainstorming sessions and accommodation. Applications are submitted via a form on the organizer's own website.
