TartAMI Residence is an artist residency program run by the Japanese tatami workshop TartAMI (Fujise Co., Ltd.) in Izumi City, Osaka, near Kansai International Airport. The program is open to artists and practitioners from all disciplines, including visual art, installation, craft, design, performance, sound and research-based practices. Artists are invited to explore tatami as a material and cultural concept, with opportunities for material exploration, production and cultural exchange.

The stay lasts from a minimum of one week and upwards, and artists stay at Fujitatami Guesthouse, a 60-year-old Japanese house next to an active tatami workshop. Shared rooms are standard for shorter stays, while single rooms are offered primarily for stays of one month or more. Studio/workshop space is available and also functions as a small gallery where artists with longer stays can arrange their own separate exhibitions.

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis via a Google Forms form, but the specified application deadline for the period January–December 2027 is November 30, 2026. The residency requires a self-paid fee covering housing, studio use, electricity and used tatami materials for art production, while meals, travel and extra art materials are not included.
