Tivedstorp Cultural Residence is a cross-genre artist-in-residence program taking place in the small town of Tivedstorp, in the middle of the primeval forest in Tiveden in Örebro len, Sweden. In 2027, the residence takes place May 17–27, and there is room for eight Nordic professional culture creators within art, music, literature, film, as well as arts and crafts and handicrafts. The residence emphasizes interdisciplinary meeting and dialogue between participants, with shared dinners and conversations each evening led by the residence's artistic hosts.

Participants receive an honorarium of 15,000 Swedish kronor for their artistic work, as well as full board and lodging during their stay. There is no requirement to complete a work, but participants commit to contributing with a public performance at the closing Culture Festival. Participants live in single rooms but share kitchen, bathroom and common areas, and must cover their own travel to and from the place as well as their own equipment and materials.

To be able to apply, you must be registered and active in a Nordic country (Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, the Faroe Islands, Åland or Greenland), and wholly or partly support yourself through your artistic activities. Only individuals can apply, not groups or duos. The shared conversations take place in Scandinavian, so applicants must be able to make themselves understood in a Scandinavian language. Applications are submitted via digital form together with work samples, and the deadline is November 26, 2026 at 23:59.
