Artist and Researcher in Residence (ARiR) Guiniguada is a residence program that has existed since 2019 in the Guiniguada valley on Gran Canaria, in a rural area near the capital Las Palmas. The program offers separate studios, shared terraces, kitchen and bathroom, and is directed toward artists and researchers working with themes such as ecological art, human rights, inclusion/exclusion and contemporary art's light art and hermetic traditions.

The stay lasts preferably four weeks, with a minimum two-week stay. Participants are expected to give a presentation of their work during the stay. There are workshops for wood and metal work, stone processing, gardening and access to library and internet.

The stay has a participant fee: 670 EUR for two weeks, plus 230 EUR per extra week. Partners can join for an additional fee of 150 EUR per week to cover accommodation. Travel, food and insurance are not included in the fee. Applications are sent by email with CV, work samples and description of planned project.
