How an order works

  1. The audience picks a stall and products in the app and sends the order. They get a pickup code.
  2. They pay to the stall’s Vipps number and write the pickup code in the message.
  3. The stall sees the order on its page, checks the payment and taps “Paid”.
  4. When the order is ready, the stall taps “Ready”, and the customer gets a notification on their phone.
  5. The customer shows the code and collects.

What the stalls get

The stall’s own page

Each stall logs in with a PIN on its own page, without a Kulturella account. There they only see their own orders.

They manage their own products

The stall adds products, prices, variants and images, or imports a list from a spreadsheet. Sold-out products are switched off with one toggle.

Limits per customer

Set a maximum per order or per customer, for example on limited records or T-shirts.

Notification when it is ready

The customer is told when the order can be collected, so nobody has to wait at the hatch.

History and sales report

The stall sees sold and delivered per product and day and can download a CSV file. The organiser sees sales for all stalls and their share in per cent.

Bar, food and merch

Stalls can be a bar, food, merch or something else, each with its own name, pickup point and Vipps number.

About paying with Vipps

Vangen does not handle money itself. Each stall uses its own Vipps number, and the money goes straight to the stall. The stall confirms the payment in Vangen. It is the simplest setup, and it needs no new agreement.

Vipps sales straight into the accounts

Kulturella is registered as an accounting partner with Vipps MobilePay. This means the stalls can give us read access to their sales figures. We get no access to the money, and we cannot start or change payments.

Each stall grants access itself in the Vipps business portal, under Reports → Accounting partners. Vangen can then bring the Vipps sales into the sales report, including sales at the stall that did not go through the app. Settling up between organiser and stalls is then based on what was actually sold.

A payment to a Vipps number without a basket only gives the amount and sales category, not which products were sold. That is why the stalls add their products in Vangen, and the whole product list can be pasted in at once.

Questions and answers

Do the stalls need their own Vipps agreement?

They need a Vipps number for a business or association, which most stalls already have. The money goes straight there.

Do the stalls need a Kulturella account?

No. The organiser creates the stalls and gives each stall a PIN. It works until four days after the event, and the organiser can create a new PIN at any time.

How does the organiser get their share?

The sales report shows sales per stall and the share you have agreed in per cent. It is the basis for invoicing the stalls after the event.

What happens to the orders afterwards?

They are deleted 30 days after the event. A summary without personal data stays in the sales report.

Can we sell merch and records too?

Yes. Products can have variants such as size or colour, with a separate price per variant.

What does it cost?
